Alnatura was founded more than 30 years ago by Götz Rehn. 1,200 different organic foods are produced under the Alnatura brand and sold in our own stores and in the branches of trading partners. There are currently 95 Super Natur markets in 42 cities. But in many regions there are still no Alnatura supermarkets. And probably because the drugstore dm wants to replace Alnatura's organic products with its own organic products soon, the organic brand Alnatura is launching its own online shop with over 900 products in April 2015 in cooperation with the online retailer Gourmondo.
The organic market is booming
Apparently a good step, because even if online food trading is still a difficult market, organic food in particular is a constantly growing market with great future prospects.
Alnatura online shop with a limited product selection
In the Alnatura online shop, the selection of products offered, with over 900, is not as numerous as in the Alnatura organic markets themselves, where between 6,000 and 12,000 products are offered. The online shop's range includes certified natural cosmetics from the Alviana brand as well as organic products from the Alnavit brand.
Minimum order value
The minimum order value online should be 25 euros plus shipping. Alnatura says it would like to further optimize the issue of shipping and packaging in a sustainable manner. Within one to two days, Gourmondo orders are shipped climate-neutrally throughout Germany and Austria via GoGreen (DHL). Anyone who is already a Gourmondo customer can now also use their existing customer account for Alnatura orders. The products from Alnatura and Gourmondo are then sent together in one package.
This promotes organic farming
As the customer base for organic products grows through this Alnatura Super Natur Shop, organic farming will be further promoted. The new shop can be reached at https://www.alnatura-shop.de/ .
