Points: Crucial for visibility

The main criterion for ranking and displaying organic hotel listings in search results is the number of points. In the default sorting, listings with more points are displayed higher . Points are awarded for completeness, reviews, booking premium accommodation, 100% organic content, and the corresponding certification. The criteria are detailed below:

completeness

The more complete an organic hotel entry is, the more points are awarded. If all information and descriptions are accurately filled out and photos are included, the entry receives 100 points . (It also receives the "Completeness Award." ) If the entry is incomplete, the points are reduced accordingly.

Number of reviews

Each review adds value for the visitor and therefore also for the listing. Up to 100 points can be earned through reviews. The first review earns the most points, and each subsequent review increases the value even further.

Premium booking

This is a boost for organic hotels . Premium listings receive an additional 200 points in addition to the points already earned through completeness and reviews. This guarantees display above all listings without premium status and additional points in the search results.

Additional points for organic content

Additional points are awarded to establishments with an organic share of at least 50% (at least 20% = 20 points, at least 50% = 50 points, at least 90% = 90 points, 100% = 100 points). Organic hotels with a 100% organic share, verified by a certificate , receive an additional 30 points .

Nevertheless, full control for visitors

The default sorting is by score. However, visitors can switch to...

• Sorting by ratings (best rated organic hotels at the top)
• Sorting by number of reviews
• Newest entries first

Of course, the number of points or the premium booking have no influence on the visitor rating of the organic hotel listings. Ratings are determined exclusively by visitors and cannot be influenced. Improved ratings cannot be purchased, and ratings that comply with our guidelines cannot be deleted upon request.
