At our hotel in Oberbozen in South Tyrol, you will experience a relaxing break that is entirely dedicated to nature and experiencing nature. As hosts, we are convinced that those who appreciate and respect nature ultimately derive personal benefit from it. For this reason, we place great importance on the sustainable use of our resources, not least because of our bees. We don't just think organically, we also act organically. This can be seen in the "GREENSIGN" award. Our apiary has been awarded the title of "Bioland-Imkerei" (Bioland apiary) and our restaurant is a "Partner des Bioland e. V." and awarded the "Silver Status Mark". Over 200 bee colonies provide us with the finest honey products every year, from mead, beeswax, propolis and honey to honeycomb and bee air, which our guests appreciate so much.
The district heating plant on the Ritten plateau supplies our hotel in Oberbozen on the Ritten plateau with green energy. The waste from wood production is converted into bioenergy – CO₂-neutral and environmentally friendly. Manfred, junior manager and master chef, also makes every effort to use natural and local ingredients in his culinary approach. With great attention to detail, he creates healthy and delicious dishes for our guests.

We use eco-certified cleaning products throughout the house for cleanliness and hygiene. In addition, the entire hotel is supplied with renewable energy from Ecostrom and the Ritten bio-district heating plant. -

Paul Rinner is a passionate third-generation organic beekeeper and has been doing so for almost 50 years. He has decades of experience in basic and beekeeping. The inner attitude towards the bee is very important to him. Bee* ethics is of fundamental interest to him and should be to every beekeeper. Working on the beehive and bee colony should follow the natural life of the bees and not the other way around. Through his findings and application techniques, he has redefined Varroa control. His approach is based on a purely biotechnological nature. The BANN-STUBE, the innovative product and its application techniques, is used against the Varroa mite and, because the BANN-STUBE is made of wood, also guarantees the queen bee a natural environment and plenty of freedom.

Inside the hive, bees collect not only honey, but also wax, essential oils, pollen, propolis, flavonoids and royal jelly. ApiWellness consists of breathing the energy-filled and delicately scented beehive air. The soothing inhalation has a relaxing effect, regulates the immune system, brings serenity and activates feelings of happiness. The ApiWellness lasts approximately 30 minutes and is combined with listening to the meditative sounds of the beehive.
Honey massage with our organic honey
Honey is not only a treat for the palate, but also contains many minerals, vitamins and enzymes that can also pamper our skin from the outside. The sticky properties of honey create a specific mechanical effect on the skin that we cannot achieve with any other product. Dead skin cells are gently removed by the crystals contained in the honey. The skin absorbs the valuable ingredients of the honey and the formation of new, healthy cells is stimulated. The special hand movements used in the honey massage stimulate blood circulation in the skin and lymph flow. The result is pure, soft, rosy-shimmering skin and a fresh appearance.
