Tönning is known as an ideal starting point for cycling tours along the coast, as well as through the beautiful North German countryside. The Eider cycle path runs directly in front of the hotel. Excursion destinations such as the Eider Barrage, the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, the Katinger Watt nature reserve or St. Peter-Ording can be reached via the cycle path.

Arrival by car
No matter which direction you're coming from, you can easily reach Tönning via the B5. From the south, the route takes you via Hamburg and the A23/B5, from the north via Husum and the B5.
Take the exit onto the B202 towards St. Peter-Ording and after about one kilometer, turn left onto Gardinger Chaussee. At the first roundabout, take the first exit onto Selckstraße and continue along the road. After about 500 meters, it becomes Badallee. After another 650 meters, turn left onto Strandweg. The sign for the outdoor swimming pool will guide you to the hotel.
Arrival by train
Tönning train station is only about 800 meters from the hotel. Many Intercity and regional trains run via Hamburg to Husum. There are also some direct connections from Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia to Husum. From there, the regional train will take you to Tönning in just a few minutes.
