We, the Kessler family and the NaturTALENTe, combine the Walser tradition and Ayurveda with modern zeitgeist, wellness and enjoyment in our hotel in Kleinwalsertal. Enjoyment in the sense of relaxation in the spring water pool, with sauna infusions or with massages. Enjoyment in the sense of activity such as yoga (twice a day), guided snowshoe tours in winter or hikes in summer. And culinary enjoyment with our regional organic cuisine with Ayurvedic and vegan options.
There is also a lot to discover around our nature hotel. When you step outside the door in winter, you find yourself in the middle of a snowy fairytale land and directly on the ski slopes. In the alpine summer, the hotel door is the starting point for hikes and bike tours in the Walser mountains.

The 500-year-old main building combines old Vorarlberg traditions with modern design and selected natural materials with the highest level of comfort and a cozy ambience. In the first climate-neutral organic hotel in Vorarlberg, you will sleep in light-flooded and spacious rooms and suites with a view of the peaks of the surrounding two-thousanders. The standard equipment includes wooden furniture made by carpenters, parquet floors, metal-free beds, bed linen made from organic cotton, natural decorative fabrics made from linen, loden and sheep's wool, vegan body care from MARÌAS, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, bathing bag with bathrobe and felt slippers and a hiking backpack. The rooms in the hotel have reduced radiation levels thanks to power switches or, in some cases, no WiFi at all.
The Nature Hotel Chesa Valisa is a unique organic natural refuge for body, mind and soul. The natural building materials such as wood and clay create a healthy indoor climate throughout the entire hotel in Kleinwalsertal that invites you to feel good. Relaxation and regeneration are particularly important in the 2,000 m² AlpinSPA with saunas, heated spring water outdoor pool, relaxation rooms and numerous wellness treatments. In the ¾ BIO-Vital Pension you can experience culinary delights from Austrian and Ayurvedic cuisine in 100% organic quality. The nature hotel offers a large activity program with yoga twice a day. Description of sustainability:
The Kessler family lives sustainability in all areas. The hotel is warmed by district heating from the Kleinwalsertal. Our own photovoltaic and solar systems heat the pool and generate electricity. Warm water is used, for example, in the heated clay benches. We work exclusively with companies and suppliers in the region. The Vorarlberg wooden architecture by Herrmann Kaufmann impresses with its lightness and reduced design. Wood, glass, clay and stone are the materials used in the house. Loden, felt and natural materials provide comfort in a casual style.
The hotel has already been nominated for the Austrian State Prize for Architecture.
Some herbs and vegetables come from our own permaculture. The meadows around the Nature Hotel Chesa Valisa are mowed late, after the hotel's bees have already flown. The organic waste is fed to pigs or converted into our own compost.
Cleaning is done with effective microorganisms. The pool is filled with its own spring water and energized according to Schauberger. -

Description of the gastronomy:
The organic restaurant “Kesslers Walsereck” in our gourmet hotel in Hirschegg has been a member of the organic hotels since 2007 and has been awarded a toque since November 2022. Behind the restaurant doors, chef Andreas Ziep pampers our guests with culinary delicacies from the Kleinwalsertal gourmet region. To enjoy Andreas Ziep's culinary delights, you don't even need to have a room key from the nature hotel. Everyone is welcome in our restaurant in Kleinwalsertal!
We treat our guests to live music every Thursday evening at the hotel bar. Enjoy our homemade cocktails with the cozy sounds of jazz or the music of the Walser Trio. Many of the ingredients are brought fresh from our own garden.
