Organic products meet food law standards that go beyond those of conventional products. The term “organic” is a term protected EU-wide by the EC Organic Regulation. Products that are labeled or described as organic must meet the criteria of the EC Organic Regulation.

What exactly is an organic certificate?

An organic certificate or eco-seal is a quality and test seal that identifies products from organic farming. In order to ensure that producers comply with the criteria , there is a documentation requirement and regular examinations of samples of organic products by the responsible organic control body. When using an association seal either additionally or exclusively by the respective cultivation association.
