Description Organic hotel
The white, thatched house is located on the mudflats on a terp behind the North Sea dike, surrounded by old fruit trees, embedded in a landscape of meadows and fields.
The rhythm of the tides, wind and space characterize the Dithmarscher coastal region. In the tranquility of nature, our yoga, Ayurveda, fasting and creative weeks show different paths to physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

- Description of sustainability: We avoid waste in our kitchen. It has become a virtue and joy for us to reuse leftovers. The next day, oven-baked vegetables are processed into spreads, and cereal porridge from the morning is processed into the basis for patties and rolls in the evening. Our chickens are happy about leftover plates.

Description of the environment:
The Wadden Sea National Park - a World Heritage Site since 2009 - offers its visitors a fascinating insight into the mudflat ecosystem. The species-rich flora and fauna is unique and a guided mudflat hike is therefore part of the “mandatory” program. It is offered by local mudflat guides directly behind the dike.
A birdwatching excursion with the Nabu or a visit to the nature conservation center in Katinger Watt is also highly recommended. There is a "Garden of the Senses", lectures about the Wadden Sea, exciting events for children and - while you're there - the best egg grog on the coast just around the corner.
You can enjoy the fresh sea air directly behind the sea dike, which is a kilometer away. The way there leads by bike or on foot through the diked foreland, the so-called Koog. From here we continue on the North Sea hiking trail: south towards Büsum (10 km) and north to the kilometer-wide sandy beaches in St. Peter-Ording (22 km), past sheep and countless wading birds that rest on the salt marshes make. Small green beaches close to bicycles invite you to go for mudflat hikes at low tide and to swim at high tide.
There are also excursions to the sights in the area: a boat trip to the Halligen and islands, the West Coast Zoo in St. Peter-Ording, the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning, the Dutch town of Friedrichstadt, the Noldemuseum in Niebüll, the Stormhaus in Husum, the Hebbelmuseum in Wesselburen and the Brahmshaus in Heide.
