The Rehlegg offers comfortable and nature-oriented furnishings in its rooms and suites. The rooms are furnished with real wooden floors, pure new wool, loden and peasant linen, creating a cozy and natural atmosphere. The handmade Hästens mattresses made from the finest natural products ensure a restful sleep. Each room has a terrace, loggia or balcony, allowing you to experience the impressive mountain landscape up close.
11 different room categories in the hotel & 3 apartments where you can self-cater or use and enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Standard amenities in rooms and suites include free high-speed Wi-Fi, sustainable Hästens beds with an extensive pillow menu, and Bioteaque teas. For an even better night's sleep, you can choose from our pillow menu, which includes various fillings such as mountain hay pillows, pine flakes and sheep's wool pillows.
The rooms are designed to offer guests a personal touch, with options ranging from cozy single rooms to large suites with a "stargazing bed" on the balcony. Some suites even have their own fireplace for added coziness.

Details of the implemented measures:
The Rehlegg is GreenSign certified with the highest possible standard “Five”.
Energy efficiency measures ensure that we only consume approximately 50% of the final energy, 50% less than comparable 4* hotels. CO2 emissions are also 50% lower in comparison. We offset the remaining emissions in various gold standard projects in Germany and internationally.
We have two solar thermal systems that we primarily use to heat our swimming pools.
Thanks to solar thermal energy, up to 14,000 liters of heating oil can be saved per year.
The hotel's three photovoltaic systems produce approximately 90,000 kilowatt hours of solar power per year. Together with the electricity generated by the two new combined heat and power plants at Rehlegg, this amounts to about 110 percent of the electricity consumed by the hotel each year. A small part is still taken from the grid and on the other side a part is fed back into the grid.
The CHP plants are fueled with CO2-neutral propane. For every ton of propane purchased, we also support the PrimaKlima association in reforestation projects. Rehlegg has had 23,151 trees planted so far. In addition, employees regularly plant young plants in the Ramsau mountain forest (over 1300 trees so far)
Many of the food products at Rehlegg are sourced from the surrounding area. For meat, poultry and fish it is almost 100 percent. The meat comes predominantly from small-scale farming. Game is supplied by the Berchtesgaden Forestry Service and the Berchtesgadener Land National Park. - Information on supported climate protection projects: From 2015 to 2021, approximately 900 tons per year were offset in the climate hotel forest. In 2022 and 2023, offsetting was done through Pina Earth. From 2019 to 2021, additional offsetting was done through Positerra (humus buildup in local soils).

• Climate positivity: The first climate-positive hotel in Upper Bavaria since 2017.
• Own energy production: 110% of the electricity requirement is produced by our own photovoltaic systems and combined heat and power plants.

• Food sharing: Actively sharing surplus, perfectly good food to avoid waste.
• Unpackaged products: Use of solid shower soap, hand soap and toothpaste tablets in the rooms instead of individual packaging.
• SapoCycle: Participation in the SapoCycle project to recycle used soap bars for those in need to reduce waste and promote hygiene.
• E-mobility for guests: provision of a free E-convertible REH-mobile; two charging stations with PV power/green electricity for our guests and two for our employees.
• E-mobility in the vehicle fleet: The majority of the hotel’s own vehicle fleet has been converted to e-mobility. An electric car is available free of charge for our employees
• Natural cosmetics: In-house care series "Rehlegger Kräuterfee" made from medicinal herbs from the Rehlegger Leit'n (untouched mountain meadow).
• Sustainable furnishings: use of natural materials (wood, sheep’s wool, linen) and reclaimed wood; Focus on environmentally friendly and fairly produced new purchases.
