Tönning is known as an ideal starting point for cycling tours along the coast, as well as through the beautiful North German countryside. The Eider cycle path runs directly in front of the hotel. Excursion destinations such as the Eider Barrage, the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, the Katinger Watt nature reserve or St. Peter-Ording can be reached via the cycle path.

Arriving by car:
From the south, you can reach the hotel via Hamburg and the A23 / B5. Coming from the north, you can reach the hotel via Husum and the B5. Please take the B202 exit from the B5 towards St. Peter-Ording. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Gardinger Chaussee.
At the first roundabout, take the first exit (Selckstraße) and follow this. After 500 meters, continue on Badallee. After about 650 meters, turn left onto Strandweg (sign for outdoor pool).
Arriving by train:
The Tönning train station is just under 800 meters from the hotel. Many intercity trains and regional trains travel via Hamburg to Husum, and there are sometimes direct trains from Berlin and NRW to Husum. There you change to the regional train to Tönning.
