THE LOCATION
Our family-run hotel is idyllically located in the quiet district of Wiesenegg. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and yet are only a 5-8 minute walk (along the Saalach hiking trail) from the lively village center of Hinterglemm.
Perfect for hiking enthusiasts: start your hiking and cycling tours right on your doorstep. The Pinzgauer Grasberge, part of the Kitzbühel Alps, offer countless opportunities for outdoor adventures. A paradise for skiers: in winter you can ski right to your doorstep! The entry lift to the ski area and a practice lift are located directly opposite the hotel. Our partner ski & snowboard school as well as the ski school “SkiLL” with rental are also just a few meters away - ideal for maximum comfort and fun in the snow. A bus stop directly in front of the hotel ensures convenient arrival and mobility on site.

Energy saving concept of heat recovery. All waste heat generated in the organic hotel from the kitchen, laundry, restaurants, bathrooms, etc. is recovered, recycled and reused. Whether for heating up the swimming pools or for preheating our domestic water (up to 42.5 °C).
Spring water from the two springs above the hotel: We have been using the extremely healthy water for more than 60 years.
The water is extremely soft (water hardness °dH 3.56!) and therefore particularly skin and hair friendly. It allows you to use very low doses of detergent and avoid fabric softeners altogether.

Hardly any chlorine in the pool: We only chlorinate our pools with the minimum amount of chlorine required by law in Austria.

The hotel is located on the south side of the Glemmtal - on the quiet outskirts of Hinterglemm. Hiking and cycling trails lead directly past the hotel. Austria's best bike school (award 2022) with kids camp opposite the hotel. Walk from the hotel along the river to the village center of Hinterglemm, walking time approx. 8 minutes, walking time to the center of Saalbach on the hiking trail approx. 35 minutes.
The hotel is located in the middle of the ski area - directly on the ski slopes and ski lifts, at the ski school meeting point and beginners' practice area. The free ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel every 20 minutes. -
