Black Forest treetop path
A popular leisure activity, for example, is the Sommerberg: embedded in the picturesque tree landscape of the Black Forest, you can reach the spectacular treetop path, which ends at an extraordinary observation tower. Access to the trail is possible for an entrance fee. There is also the option of hiking on forest paths under the path, completely free of charge, but less spectacularly.
The path is mainly made of wood and offers useful background information about the development of the forest and its inhabitants. The approximately 636 meter long path runs through and over the treetops at a height of between 4 and 20 meters, enhanced by lovingly designed comic panels and interesting experience stations.
Observation tower - barrier-free and family-friendly
The treetop path ends at a viewing tower, which is also largely made of wood. Anyone who climbs to a height of 38.5 meters will be rewarded with a breathtaking 360° view over the Black Forest. Small arrows indicate the direction of the compass or well-known cities and regions that can be seen in the distance. Here, too, interesting information boards on the subject of forests await visitors, but they do not bore you with their concise information.
Tunnel slide
If you're looking for a bit of variety on your descent and don't want to miss out on a constant view, use the 55-meter-long tunnel slide. Visitors aged six and over are allowed to use these for a small additional charge.
Adventure playground for children
Whether on foot or by sliding: at the end of the descent, a lovingly created, spacious adventure playground awaits visitors. The special highlight: a green trampoline.

There is also a small snack bar - the “Manger” - with seating and a toilet, as well as a souvenir shop at the foot of the observation tower.
Suspension bridge "Wildline"
From there you can also reach another destination: via the “Fairy Tale Trail” you reach the breathtaking “Wildline” suspension bridge. For an entrance fee, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the fir trees of the Black Forest over a total length of 380 meters at a dizzying height of around 58.67 meters.

The bridge fascinates with its unique construction and its successful integration into nature. 300 people are allowed to stay on the bridge at the same time. This is easily possible thanks to the comfortable bridge width of 1.20 meters.
Park
Parking is available on the edge of the Sommerberg in a central location. There are also parking garages and parking spaces available directly in Bad Wildbad.
