Description Organic hotel
The small village of Manderow is hidden and free from through traffic near the Baltic Sea and only 10 kilometers from Wismar in the Klützer Winkel. Since the beginning of 2018, we have been fundamentally renovating the old manor house using historical materials. Wherever possible, we preserve and improve the old building structure.
Whether it's a weekend trip, a short vacation, an escape from hectic everyday life or a long summer break in the country: our manor house is a wonderful place for couples, friends and single travelers to relax and recharge their batteries. If the sky is clear, you can see the Milky Way at night while the nightingale sings or the screech owl calls. During the day you can simply put your feet up in the garden or go on excursions in the surrounding area.
Yoga retreat, watercolor course or choir time – the manor house and its guest rooms can also be booked exclusively. If you are looking for an undisturbed retreat for your group or a family reunion, please feel free to contact us.
The six guest rooms are on the first floor, either with a view of the roundabout and the two old linden trees or with a view of the garden and the house chestnut tree. Each two guest rooms share one of the three shared bathrooms with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink.
On the ground floor, the winter garden, the bay window room, the hall and the reception room can be used. You will also find a guest toilet on this floor.
Please note that we offer guest rooms without use of the kitchen. You've come to the right place if you don't want to stand at the stove on holiday and would rather go out to eat. We would be happy to give you restaurant tips. We serve you an individual breakfast in organic quality - vegetarian or vegan if desired - at the table for the price of 12.00 euros per person per day. Please specify when booking if you would like breakfast.
Historic renovation work is being carried out in parts of the house. However, you will usually notice next to nothing about it. If you are curious, you are welcome to look over our shoulder and let us show you the house.
The guest rooms are of a good standard, but not without morbid charm.
Be our guest if you love old houses as much as we do and can live with the fact that not everything is perfect even during the renovation phase or if you find this particularly exciting.

All roads lead to Manderow
The Manderow manor house is located free from through traffic in the Klützer Winkel between Wismar and Boltenhagen. You can reach us from Hamburg via the A 1 and A 20 in just under two hours. From Berlin you can reach us in about two and a half hours via the A 24, A 14 and A 20.
We recommend that you take exit 8 “Wismar-Mitte” if you are coming from the A20. Then head towards Gägelow and later towards Klütz/Boltenhagen.
Please pay attention to wildlife crossings, especially if you arrive in the evening.
We would be happy to organize a shuttle service from Wismar train station if you come to us by train.
