What is the Biohotel award from Biohotels.de?

The Biohotel Award is an award from our editorial team, which each year selects the most popular organic hotels and nature hotels of the year in certain regions. We would like to recognize outstanding ecological sustainability in the hotel industry.

The priority is a fair evaluation of the hotels, which we research in detail based on all published data and sustainability certificates. Guest reviews and other hotel portals where the organic hotel / nature hotel can be found are also analyzed for this purpose.

The awards go to the most popular organic hotels , which are in terms of... Accuracy of information , ORGANIC gastronomy , rooms , cleanliness , friendliness , ecological thinking , location & surroundings as well as price-performance ratio scored best in customer reviews and at the same time convinced the jury, which consists of Biohotels.de employees.

Minimum criteria (at the time of award)

an overall rating of at least 4.7 out of 5 stars ( tips for collecting reviews )
a completeness of the entry of at least 90 out of 100 points ( information about points )
a certification by at least one of the eco-labels listed under “ organic certificates ”.
