Description of the organic hotel features:
The linara family combines an organic family hotel with its own organic farm. Our kitchen, which has been awarded Bio Fair Gold, uses at least 90 percent certified organic products. We grow some of our own oats, barley, potatoes, corn, vegetables and herbs, while the fresh eggs come from our mobile chicken coop. Children experience organic farming firsthand by collecting eggs, visiting farms, and baking bread in a traditional wood-fired oven.
The hotel operations are also consistently geared towards sustainability. For over 25 years we have been heating with wood chips from the surrounding forests and generating renewable electricity with our photovoltaic system. For the furnishings, we rely on natural materials such as wood from our own forest, natural stone and sheep's wool carpets. We are reducing plastic and single-use items, consistently separating waste, and replacing printed information with a digital guest directory.
Free public transport with the Brixen South Tyrol Guest Pass and two charging stations for electric vehicles enable environmentally friendly mobility during the stay. Linara family has been awarded the official South Tyrol sustainability seal for our overall sustainable concept.

Description of sustainability:
At linara family, sustainability is not just an award, but a lived philosophy. From the organic farm to our organic kitchen and into the hotel rooms, our entire operation is geared towards a conscious and responsible use of natural resources. For this commitment, we were awarded the official South Tyrol sustainability seal.
For over 25 years we have been heating with wood chips from the surrounding forests – regional, renewable and with short transport routes. As the first house in the village, we also opted for solar energy and generate some of our own electricity with our photovoltaic system. In our daily hotel operations, we are also committed to using energy and resources sparingly: our guests decide for themselves when they want their towels changed and their rooms cleaned, we largely avoid single-use items, reduce plastic waste, carefully separate waste, and manage heating and lighting energy-efficiently.
For renovations and furnishings, we prefer natural, durable materials such as sheep's wool carpets, natural stone and wood from our own forest. At the same time, we work closely with regional partners to keep transport routes short and strengthen local value creation.
Even during their stay, our guests can travel in an environmentally friendly way. With the Brixen South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge and can easily start numerous excursions without a car. Two charging stations are available for electric vehicles in our underground car park. Our digital guest directory replaces printed brochures and offers up-to-date, paperless information about the ski and alpine region, our weekly program and menu selection at any time.
A particularly important part of our philosophy is our organic farm. On the land surrounding the hotel, we grow our own vegetables, oats, corn and herbs. The freshly harvested vegetables go directly to our kitchen without any detours, ensuring honest, seasonal and regional enjoyment. Children are allowed to collect the eggs from our organic chickens themselves and experience firsthand where food comes from.
Among sheep, ponies, goats, fruit trees, berry bushes and our beehives, young and old discover an agriculture that treats animals, soils and natural cycles with care. Baking bread together in a traditional wood-fired oven brings old craft techniques to life and allows one to experience sustainable management with all the senses.
Our nature conservation efforts also follow this principle. Inspired by linara – little, nature, ranger – children become little nature rangers. They explore forests, meadows and the farm, observe animals and learn playfully how valuable our environment is and how it can be protected.
This is how linara family creates a holiday in harmony with nature: authentic, conscious and sustainable – for valuable family time today and a future worth living tomorrow. -

Whenever possible, we use vegetables, potatoes, herbs, and eggs from our own farm, as well as select organic products from regional partners. This is the highest level of certification for restaurants with an organic content of at least 90 percent. -
