For towns, districts and postcode areas, the results can be sorted here by distance from the center.

Whether a weekend getaway, short break or extended holiday trip: holidays in Germany are diverse, for city travelers, culture lovers and active holidaymakers as well as for a wellness or family holiday.
For around a third of Germans, their home country is the undisputed number 1 holiday destination – ahead of Spain, Italy and Austria.
International guests also appreciate not only the major cities like Berlin, Munich or Hamburg, but especially the natural environment: Over a third of Germany's area is protected, including 16 national parks and 15 UNESCO biosphere reserves.
Where exactly in Germany would you like to travel? And what are your priorities when it comes to accommodation? The filters in our hotel directory make the search easy. And if you're looking for inspiration, you'll find plenty of behind-the-scenes glimpses into the world of organic hotels and information on conscious travel in our blog .

Around two-thirds of travelers consider ecological or social sustainability important when traveling (survey by the German Federal Environment Agency) – a figure that has risen steadily since 2012. In Germany, accommodations offering organic cuisine and a holistic approach are on the rise, but not yet commonplace. The densest selection is already found in the German Alps and Austria , where the organic hotel movement began over 25 years ago. To save you time searching, Biohotels.de brings together a wide range of certified organic accommodations in our search portal. For each listing, you'll see the percentage of organic ingredients and the certification system, as well as information on other environmental aspects related to energy, cleaning products and cosmetics, water and waste management, building biology, and architecture. With just a few clicks, you can find accommodations that match your preferences and values.
A holiday in Germany also means a significantly shorter journey compared to a long-haul flight, resulting in a better carbon footprint. Many holiday regions are well connected by train and bus, both within Germany and from most neighboring European countries. You often won't need a car once you arrive. Many resorts offer discounted or even free travel on local public transport with a guest card.
Tip: Some of our hosts reward you for arriving by public transport! To find out more, combine the filter "Biohotels in Germany" with the filter "Bonus for arriving by public transport" (found in the filter category "Environment & Social").
German cuisine is characterized by its enormous regional diversity, strongly influenced by the specific geographical conditions. And: Even those who eat little or no meat will find plenty of options in German hotels. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are standard on menus in many places – and we expect our organic hotels to offer meat-free options as a matter of course. Many of our hosts are also prepared to accommodate special dietary needs such as food intolerances or fasting requirements. With our search filters, you can find the perfect organic cuisine to suit your needs.
The North: Fish & "Brooken Sööt": The cuisine along the North and Baltic Seas, as well as in the city-states of Hamburg and Bremen, is maritime and influenced by crops from the marshlands. A typical feature is the combination of sweet and sour/savory flavors.
The West: Rhenish cheerfulness & hearty fare: Along the Rhine and in Westphalia, hearty meat dishes meet sweet notes, often accompanied by legumes and potatoes.
The East: Hearty home cooking: In eastern Germany, warming stews, game dishes, and elaborate potato and dough creations dominate. Influences from Eastern Europe are also noticeable.
The Southwest: Culinary finesse & pasta: In Baden-Württemberg, the Palatinate, and Saarland, the proximity to France is clearly evident. The cuisine is considered one of the most refined in Germany, characterized by excellent wines and fine pasta dishes. Numerous wineries are also located here.
The South: Beer garden culture & Alpine coziness: Bavarian and Franconian cuisine is the face of "typically German" gastronomy worldwide. It is meat-focused, hearty, and linked to the local beer brewing tradition.
